When connected to the Vario app the Flight Pod will run for 12 hours on a single charge. Using the Flight Pod as a standalone acoustic vario increases this to over 50 hours. If you do find the battery running out, it recharges in only 90 minutes using the same micro U charger as your phone. Want to use the Flight Pod with XCSoar? Yep, it can do that too.This app is fully featured for 5 minutes. After that time the app can still be used to customise the acoustic thresholds, filter levels, lift average and acoustic theme of your Flight Pod, but flight display and recording functions will be disabled.
