Super Marioo bros World

The game was the first ooth-scrolling platform game, as each screen need not be individually loaded; the entire level was one ooth experience. Super Marioo bros World is a 64-level extravaganza that sends Marioo up against Bowser, king of the koopas. As Marioo, you'll stomp on the insidious turtle creatures, crush mushroom-like goombas beneath your feet, and absolutely crush bullet bills, buzzy beetles, and the like. You'll pick up fireflowers and gain the ability to shoot fireballs, which you'll use to burn up the Hammer brothers, spinys, piranha plants, and more. But mostly, you'll do a whole lot of running and jumping as you make your way through the game's eight worlds. The game's worlds are broken up into four levels each. The fourth level of each world is a castle level with a boss fight against the evil Bowser at the end. The boss fights are mostly identical, with you attempting to either blast your nemesis with fireballs or sneak past him to grab an axe, which causes the bridge Bowser's standing on to collapse. Players negotiate 8 challenging worlds, stomping on enemies as they pass through, and battling Bowser at the end of each. It was so frustrating on my first run through Super Marioo bros World when that silly little Princess never seemed to be able to stay put in one place. She was always one step ahead; Reaching the end of each level is a pleasurable experience, as the controls are extremely tight and rarely let the player down. In the second stage it is imperative to be absolutely pixel-perfect in jumping from one narrow ledge to another - and with the proper skill, this is easily accomplished. While there may be several times where Marioo ends up in a bottomless pit, for the most part, the controls do as they're told and are dead-on
