The SmartCoach App can be configured for any sport or group activity, and can contain multiple activities on a single device.Currently it is primarily aimed at Smart Phone users, with an optimized Tablet version to follow. It is based around a configurable central dash showing top performers, upcoming games and sessions and any session you need to close.It will work for many sports including Hockey, Football, Rugby, Netball, Basketball, American Football, Baseball and Ice Hockey.The app has been designed with speed in mind and is fast and intuitive to use, and can really push the boundaries with NFC controls. It contains no network / internet connections so it will not hinder you on the field of play or in remote sporting locations!You can share graphical information from the app to your favourite social media, and email session attendance to predefined mailing lists when closing sessions.It links to your Google groups for quick import of players including contact image. The app then allows you to set the following base dataSkills - Define a skill, give it a grade and capture data against itLevel - Define the level you are capturing the skill againstGame Feature - Define game features and whether it is positive or negative and capture data against itPositions - Define positions and desired skills for that positionGrids - Define positions grids to be used within Games to add players, or be suggested players based on skills stats captureSession Grids - Define animated sessions as reminders for yourself whilst coachingWithin the App you can then manageGroups: Manage your group, see average ratings per group performance, combined skill averages etc to help you hone your training for each groupSkills: Log skill grades against players and levels. Ideal for retaining performance after a busy session.Players: A full breakdown of players stats, skills and attendance and game minutes playedSessions: Create repeat session, log attendance, skills covered and session gridsGames: Create games, handle player availability via S, grid management, with assigned players per play or tactic, and full game control scoring /timing and feature capture, including substitutions.For NFC users this app will allow you to register NFC tags or wristbands against players, and then use the tags to register players into and out of sessions, on and off the field of play and for quick locate on the skills and players menusIt has been tested on Samsung and HTC phones. Phase 2 coming soon will be a Tablet optimized version, and the ability to use the Tablet as a server via Beam / Bluetooth and your assistant coaches will be able to download a client only version to collect data against the central Tablets database.As it will be under subscription (free trial for 1 month) if you do download for the trial on a Tablet let me know and i will aim to get the free trial reset for Phase 2 release.
