*** Mixed Reality Day Version *** Nearly everybody has played with a Carrera Slotcar Racing Toy in his or her childhood. This app is about to make the users relive their childhood memories by bringing a slotcar game to the smart phone using Augmented Reality. In the Slotcar AR application it is possible to drive with a slotcar on predefined or custom build tracks. Instead of pushing the button of a hand-held controller to accelerate, the app uses the touchscreen. Touching the screen accelerates the slotcar, after releasing the screen the slotcar keeps gliding through the track and decelerates with the friction. The goal is to drive around the track as fast as possible. ***** This version is a demo version for the Mixed Reality Day in Hagenberg/Austria.
