RowingCAS

RowingCAS is a GPS-based Collision Avoidance System for boats. It warns about erous approaches with other boats equipped with the same or a compatible system. While it is primarily designed for rowing, it's also perfectly suitable for sailing, all motor boats and yachts as long as a mobile data connection is available.The screen shows up to five of the closest boats as little triangles. If a erous approach is detected, the triangle changes color and an alarm tone sounds.Press the TEST button to see and hear an alarm indication.The algorithm is carefully designed to warn only if a collision risk actually exists.RowingCAS is currently free. It uses the GPS, the compass and requires a mobile data connection.
