Pocket Arcadia – is a mobile game for android that is inspired by retro games. The goal of the game is to bring back the retro feel to modern games in this millennial generation and to create a game without the use of any game engines. The game consists of three arcade games that instead of using consoles, or buttons to play, it uses modern tech of such as motion sensor and gyro sensor. There are three arcade games namely; “Pulis Pangkalawakan”, “Go! Go! Power Color”, and “Speed Boy” Pocket Arcadia Features: ★ Three different arcade games ★ Retro arcade game theme ★ Easy to control, using motion and gyro sensor to only tilt your phone ★ Beautiful background music ★ Includes Power-ups and Enemies! ★ Light, and sound effects ★ Become a spaceship leader, a cute bouncing ball or a racing champ! HOW TO PLAY: Pulis Pangkalawakan, this game is inspired by retro space shooting games. The main goal of this game is to shoot the incoming enemies coming towards you. You could either shoot the meteors or evade them by tilting your phone left or right. You only have one life so aim and shoot! “Go! Go! Power Color”, the second arcade game. The user can adjust the pace of the ball as it bounces the walls, from slow to fast before they begin to play. The ball automatically bounces when it hits the two walls; the upper and lower walls. The user controls the ball by veering the phone left or right. User must hit the balls of the same color of their ball, make sure thy avoid the other balls which is not the same color as theirs because each time they do, they lose a life. The user only has 5 lives. As the time passes, more and more colors will show.. the game will become difficult. The ball that a “P” indicates that it is a “Power-up”, the user should take that when it matches the color of their ball to pop all those colors on the screen. “Speed Boy”, The game uses gyro sensor, so the user has the freedom to veer the car forward, backward and sideways. It is inspired by retro racing games but with the use of modern controls. The main objective of the game is to pass by all the blue cars without hitting them. When the red car continuously hit the blue cars the health decreases, when it becomes “0”, it’s game over. The score gets higher the more distance covered by the car.
