In one of his fights, Ultimate King: Mask man was grievously wounded and collapsed in front of a monastery. The Marquez priests saved him from death. After recovering, Ultimate King: Magician Mask man realized the error of his ways and resolved to start a new life. He became a Catholic priest and renounced his old fighting ways.  Fantastic mask then became a man with a mission; he dreamed of building an orphanage for street children, hoping to save them from becoming the kind of person he used to be. Lacking the necessary funds to achieve his dream, Ultimate Mask hero entered the first King of Iron Fist Tournament, in order to obtain them. He managed to get third place, winning enough prize money for the orphanage. He also met his rival, Armor King. After a child died in his care, Ultimate Mask King became depressed and, giving up his jaguar mask, returned to the street and became a raging alcoholic. With rumors of the "God of Fighting" circulating, Armor King: Mask Magician revealed to his student that the elusive entity was the one most likely responsible. Armor King : Mask man watched as the new Ultimate King, fueled with rage, set his sights on avenging his foster father's death and proving himself worthy of wearing the mask. Previous Life of Magician Mask Fighter: Stanley Jim is a shy and unlucky bank clerk working at the local Edge City bank. He is frequently ridiculed by everyone around him, except for his Jack Milo, and his co-worker and best friend Charlie. Meanwhile, gangster Dorian, owner of the Coco Bongo nightclub, plots to overthrow his boss Niko. One day, Tyrell sends his singer girlfriend Tina into Stanley's bank to record its layout, in preparation to rob the bank. The next morning, Stanley encounters detective Lieutenant and newspaper reporter Peggy investigating the Mask's hero activity of the previous night. To attend Tina's performance, he again becomes the Mask to raid the bank, inadvertently foiling Tyrell's plan in the process. Following a confrontation with Tyrell for disrupting the bank robbery, Stanley flees leaving behind a scrap of cloth from his suit that transforms back into his pajamas, while Tyrell and his men are arrested by Kellaway and his partner. He discovered that the object may be a depiction of Loki, the Norse god of darkness and mischief. The same night, Stanley meets Tina at a local park as the Mask man, but the meeting is interrupted by Kellaway, who attempts to capture him. Stanley tricks a large group of police officers into joining him in a mass-performance of the Desi and flees with Peggy, but she betrays him to Tyrell. Using the mask, Tyrell becomes a malevolent green-faced monster. Tyrell's henchmen end up in the possession of the stolen money after Stanley is forced to reveal its location, and they turn Stanley in to the police.
