KOF99 is a fighting game released for the arcade and the home console. It is the sixth game in the KOF series. This series was announced by the creator as a "special edition" of the series, as it featured most of the characters that appeared in the previous games (from KOF '94 to '98), regardless of whether the character was killed in the Serie.
