India will host the 2018 FIH Men's Hockey World Cup at Bhubaneswar from November 28 to December 16. Six top hockey nations will participate in the 19-day tournament to to be played in the Odisha capital. 16 countries are participating in the tournament and they've been divided in four groups of four teams. India are placed in Group C alongside Belgium, Canada and South Africa. Manpreet Singh is the designated captain of the Indian side while Chinglensana Singh Kangujam is the second-in-command. Harendra Singh is the coach of the Indian men's hockey team. All the matches of the tournament will be played at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
