Flying Words Flappy Words

"Words flying around strange obstacles. A road sign, a gramophone player, a potted cactus? What can all this possibly mean? And how come they're aerodynamic anyway? No time to wonder about that. Ah, here's a strange list with 2 boxes. Perhaps the word fits in one of these...."Fly the words around the obstacles and land them in the right section - in their entirety! Tap the screen to make the words bounce and get them to land in the right place!Where is the right place? Pick the one that has the most in common with the word you're flying! Also, there are no rude words in this strange world. No adult themes either. And it's in English only because I don't know any other languages well enough to produce the puzzles. You can fly off the screen, above or below, but only for a moment. There are 10 levels. Each level has at least 250 different puzzles. You need to answer 10 puzzles correctly in one game to progress to the next level. The free version has adverts, level 1 and three puzzles from level 2.The full version has no adverts and 10 full levels of flying flappy word fun! Plus you can resume the game from any level you've reached already. In app purchase allows the upgrade to the full version - one payment, no subscriptions and no further payments needed. Etymology and strange words. Some are the words that you've seen a few times but are unsure as to their exact meaning! Besides, it's multiple choice and you might get lucky........You win trophies along the way by completing levels. You obtain the bronze cup after level 4 and gold after level 9. If you complete level 10, you'll get something better than the gold cup! And if you complete all 10 levels in one attempt, you must be some kind of genius. The words are (mostly) in British English, but the spelling tests only use words that are spelled the same way in both American and British variations (except when the test is whether the word is correct in British or American). I've included some American variations - zucchini = courgette, eggplant = aubergine! If you haven't played Weird Island or Alien Shipwreck, you can stop reading now... and start playing!(For any fans of Weird Island or Alien Shipwreck, I can reveal that a technique similar to this game was used by Sir Ffortescue Weird to teach the alien the English language. This took place in the secret garden on Weird Island on one afternoon in 2014 and 1969!)
