From Baan Dek Foundation, and winner of MIT Solve's Award for Social Innovation, Digital Superheroes Academy teaches children living in Thailand, or planning to migrate to Thailand, critical thinking, life skills, and soft skills; all in the form of fun ‘superpowers’! Once downloaded, all life skills can be played off-line at any time, without access to Wi-Fi or data. The life skill lessons and games in this application are currently available in English, Thai, Thai Yai, and Burmese languages. Each life skill includes multiple superpower lessons, with fun animated videos to learn essential information. Children will play engaging drag and drop games to earn stars; and they earn diplomas and level up with each completed life skill. Stars earned through gaining new superpower knowledge can be used in the Superhero Store to purchase capes, accessories, hairstyles, cool backgrounds, animal friends, and more! You can track your child’s learning and progress over time, and see what diplomas they have earned and what superpowers they have obtained. Completing superpower life skills will inform your child about how to access public services for education, healthcare, and child protection; ultimately equipping them with the hard and soft skills necessary for improved educational and professional opportunities in the future.
