“Why there are no artists neither art works in post-apocalyptic and space movies, Sci-fi and fantasy series, dystopian films nor in video games? Under this assumption, Ypuccko Gallery explores possible future strategies and scenarios where contemporary artistic practices escapes from the effects of a timeless-cognitive loop : in which culture is dominated by neo-liberal capital, artists are pawns of the aggressive finance market, discourses are articulated by a designed institutional approach and mass media/techno stimuli colonies the expansion of the multiplicity of visions. In contrast to this overload force of submission, Ypuccko Gallery reclaims the disappearance of the future by creating virtual environments where artists can articulated their discourses beyond a post-capitalist reality.
