Both players which involve diagonal moves of uniform game pieces and mandatory captures by jumping over opponent pieces.Basic movement is to move a checker one space diagonally forward. You can not move a checker backwards until it becomes a King or queen. kings or queen can move any distance diagonally if the square is not blocked.
