BEEducated was created by Adithi Raghavan and Leo Fan in an effort to aid the rapidly declining bee pollination that has been reduced by over 3.5 million since 1947. Seeing how critical pollinators are in our ecosystem and for our economy, we wanted to support them by raising awareness about the plight of bees and promoting the health of other pollinators with an app. Our mission is to empower youth to work with their communities to help bees thrive once again. Recently, we collaborated with MIT developers on an app dedicated to raising awareness about the plight of bees. The app was sent to over 700 donors and has been downloaded over 300 times nationwide.
