Philippe Schoeller "ARCHAOS INFINITA III " pour 12 percussions dirigées, & Electronique avec IPhones/Smartphones , joués et spatialisés par le public. durée: 8 - 9 min. Poursuivant le cycle " Archaos Infinita, I et II ", pour 12 percussions dirigées, cette troisième partition fut écrite pour les 12 musiciens vivants du Paris Percussion Group, allié à une partition composée de matériaux destinés à être entendus sur des haut-parleurs. Création le 21 septembre 2018 , à l'occasion de l'ouverture de " La Scala ", à Paris. Le P.P.G. est dirigé par Julien Leroy. Chacun et chacune du public déclenche les parties électroniques à partir de son artphone. C'est le chef d'orchestre qui donne les points de départ. La nature de la musique électronique ouvre l'espace et distorsionne le temps. Une des conceptions de la matière éléctronique fut de parvenir à construire un certain "raffinement acoustique": celui inhérent à la nature même de l'instrument de diffusion: un simple artphone. Léger. Discret. Même si d'ordinaire l'on doit les éteindre en concert, ici, il faut absolument les allumer! Ce défaut tente ainsi de devenir qualité. Car la répartition et la distribution spatiale , fine et souple, des artphones , ainsi que les cascades de déclenchements - par chacun et chacune du public - des sources sonores, ouvrent la perception frontale scènique à un rayonnement multidimentionnel. Nature archaïque, essentielle, primale, fondamentale de l'ouïe: l'espace et la texture. L'infinitude du ciel et la noblesse de la Terre. Je tiens à remercier grandement Christophe Lebreton, du Grame, pour sa disponibilité, sa compétence et sa bienveillance , lumières par lesquelles il nous offre le possible d'entendre cette nouvelle oeuvre qui allie le geste du musicien, infini de beauté organique au théâtre, subtil et invisible, de la technologie; ce monde capricieux car paradoxalement archaïque. Continuing the cycle "Archaos Infinita, I and II", for 12 directed percussions, this third score was written for the 12 living musicians of the Paris Percussion Group, allied to a score composed of materials intended to be heard on loudspeakers. Created on September 21, 2018, on the occasion of the opening from "La Scala", in Paris. P.P.G. is directed by Julien Leroy. Each and everyone of the public triggers the electronic parts from his artphone. It's the conductor who gives the starting points. The nature of electronic music opens space and distorts time. One of the conceptions of electronic matter was to succeed in constructing a certain "acoustic refinement": the one inherent to the very nature of the broadcasting instrument: a simple artphone. Lightweight. Discreet. Even though usually we have to turn them off in concert, here, it is absolutely necessary to light them! This defect thus tries to become quality. Because distribution and distribution space, thin and flexible, artphones, as well as cascades of triggers - by each and every one of the public - sound sources, open the frontal perception of scenes with a multidimensional radiation. Archaic, essential, primal, fundamental nature of hearing: space and texture.  The infinity of heaven and the nobility of the Earth. I would like to thank Christophe Lebreton, from Grame, for his availability, his competence and his kindness, lights by which he offers us the possible to hear this new work that combines the gesture of the musician, infinite of organic beauty subtle and invisible theater of technology; this world capricious because paradoxically archaic.
