Apex Legends Battle Royal

Apex Legends is the latest Battle Royale on the scene, and it so happens it’s from the makers of Titanfall - that’s a good enough reason to be excited by itself. You’ve got the usual genre staples here, including a circle that closes in and restricts the gameplay space, loot all over the floor, and a battle to the death to be the last team standing. There’s one thing which separates it from the competition though, and that’s the unique heroes with special abilities. It’s free to play too, which of course means it’s got to have some form of extra monetisation. This comes in the form of microtransactions, loot boxes, currencies and the like. Thankfully there aren’t any purchasable items which will give you a gameplay advantage. Everything you spend money on will make your favourite characters and weapons look cooler, but won’t affect their performance.
