Multiple levels are divided into eight stages each with target words to collect. As you fly around the galaxy, you identify the spaceships through specific vocabulary. You discover how to collect the spaceships with humans and destroy the spaceships without. Upgrading your spaceship gives you a better laser with an improved firepower. Your laser and spaceship can be upgraded after each level or all-at-once. These upgrades help to create a more enjoyable arcade feel to the game. Each stage is set in an imaginary part of the galaxy with beautiful planets as the background. Defending each planet successfully allows you access to the next planet. At the end of each level, there is an additional task of solving a puzzle. Each level contains an anagram puzzle to be solved.
